The challenge
Found sold its water only in glass and wanted to turn that choice into action against single-use plastic bottles in the ocean.
The idea
Launched for World Oceans Month in June 2019, the limited run of 100,000 bottles was designed by artist Amit Greenberg, matching UNESCO's count of marine mammals affected by plastic, with proceeds going to Oceana. A New York pop-up with swimwear label Les Girls Les Boys, a panel discussion and a public pledge to use less plastic followed. Found was co-founded by Onur Kece, The Refreshment Club's founder.
