What we publish

Brief & Butter publishes news, analysis, reports, trends, campaign work, award results and event listings about advertising, marketing and creative culture, with a focus on Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.

Everything here is for general information. It isn’t legal, financial or investment advice, so check anything important with the original source before you act on it.

We check facts against primary sources before publishing, but mistakes can still happen. If you spot one, email us at briefandbutter@gmail.com and we’ll correct it.

Work, images and links from others

Campaigns, case films, images, logos and credits belong to the brands, agencies and people who made them. We show them to report on and discuss the work, and we credit the people behind it.

Many images and films load directly from their original publishers, and some stories link to files hosted elsewhere, such as official reports and booklets. We don’t control those sites or files, and their own terms apply.

If you own something we’ve shown and want a credit fixed or the item removed, email briefandbutter@gmail.com and we’ll look at it promptly.

Our content

Our articles, summaries, translations, original illustrations and covers, and the site’s design and logo belong to Brief & Butter.

You’re welcome to share links to our pages and quote short extracts, as long as you credit Brief & Butter and link back to the original.

Please don’t republish whole articles, copy our listings or databases, scrape the site, or use our content to train AI models without our written permission.

Submitting work

When you send us a campaign, news tip or perspective, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that the credits you give are accurate.

You let us publish what you send, edit it for length and clarity, adapt it between English and Arabic, and share it on our site, newsletter and social channels. You keep ownership of your work, and we don’t pay for submissions.

We decide what to publish, and sending something doesn’t guarantee it will appear.

Using the site fairly

Please don’t try to get into the editor or other restricted areas, interfere with how the site runs, overload it with automated requests, or submit anything unlawful, misleading or that infringes someone else’s rights.

We may block access for anyone who does.

Changes and availability

We may update, correct or remove content, and change or pause parts of the site, at any time.

The site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Brief & Butter isn’t responsible for losses that come from using the site, from relying on its content, or from the external sites and files it links to.

Updates to these terms

We may change these terms as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts in Riyadh will hear any dispute arising from them.
