The challenge
Maintain a distinctive animation style across generated shots while telling a relationship story without spoken dialogue.
The idea
A crimson thread connects a mother’s knitting to the coat her son wears throughout his life. The garment’s persistent oversized fit makes protection visible, while his growing independence changes what that connection means. The project brief describes a consistent set of visual rules for painted environments, stepped animation and character design.
