The challenge
Give an abstract fear of losing control a physical form that an audience can understand through character and action.
The idea
Seoyun pins down more and more of her band’s world in pursuit of a perfect performance. The contrast between the paper environment and the pins turns control into a visible, increasingly restrictive force. The story uses the band’s final school performance to explore how accepting imperfection can make room for connection and spontaneity.
