Sean’s improvised wings express his longing to leave a polluted beach. His friendship with another crab and an encounter with a young seabird shift the story from personal escape towards a better life shared with someone else. Changes in light and colour follow the emotional stages of his journey, while shells and discarded objects carry meaning through the visual storytelling.
