ChatGPT adds Slides for building and co-editing presentations.

OpenAI is rolling out ChatGPT Slides, which builds presentations inside ChatGPT and lets teammates edit them together in real time. The 16 October update is reaching eligible Pro, Business and Enterprise users with access to Space, on the web and in the desktop app.
Users start a deck from a conversation, files, an outline or a shared example deck by asking ChatGPT in Work to create a presentation in Space. They can then edit text, images, shapes and charts themselves or ask ChatGPT to make the changes, generate images or add their own, invite teammates into the same deck and leave shared comments. Decks can be presented from ChatGPT; on the web they export to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides, and the desktop app opens them in PowerPoint or Keynote where those are installed.
Slides builds on Space, which OpenAI introduced on 29 September to bring Pages, files and related work for a project together in one place that can be shared with others. Pages, launched the same day, are documents people create and edit together inside Space. Also on 16 October, OpenAI updated GPT-6 Pro in ChatGPT with faster responses, better use of plugins and tools, and multiple agents that can work on parts of a task in parallel.
OpenAI's release note does not say when Plus or Free users will get Slides, or which countries the rollout covers.
For agencies and in-house teams in Riyadh and Dubai that finish decks in PowerPoint or Google Slides, the export route is what makes Slides practical. It looks most useful for first drafts and internal decks, with Arabic right-to-left layouts and brand templates checked closely before anything goes to a client.
Why it matters
Decks are core agency work, and ChatGPT can now draft and co-edit them with export to PowerPoint and Google Slides. It is worth testing for first drafts, with Arabic layouts checked before client use.
