The challenge
IKEA wanted to reach people moving into studios and one- or two-bedroom apartments at the moment they were looking for a home.
The idea
The banner held an entire IKEA store that shoppers could browse by department and buy from. It ran in the real estate sections of community websites, next to listings for small apartments, and a short film about it went out on YouTube and Vimeo. The work was made across Ogilvy Action, Memac Ogilvy and OgilvyOne in Dubai.
Results
- According to the case study, the banner had a first-week click-through rate of 101%: 16,384 clicks from 16,273 impressions.
- The case study reports 77,859 combined film views on YouTube and Vimeo.
