The challenge
Made 'in celebration of Qatar hosting the Formula 1 Grand Prix', the film set out to show the country's commitment to developing young people into the next generation of racing drivers, according to the GCO's award entry.
The idea
The film follows Abdullah Nasser Al Khater, whom the entry describes as a professional karting racer who dreams of becoming a Formula 1 driver, to show how such ambitions are supported from a young age with facilities, technical support and resources. The GCO published it on YouTube as 'Promising Sports Talents' (مواهب رياضية واعدة). Hassan Khedr is credited as creative and director.
