The challenge
A boycott had stopped McDonald's Qatar's marketing for seven months, leaving a split customer base with shifting feelings toward the brand. It needed transactions again without wasting spend.
The idea
Customers were segmented as Loyal, On-the-Fence or Rejectors, each with its own messaging. An always-on programme released monthly app offers set by sales and stock levels, delivered through InMobi and Google's Universal App Campaigns with programmatic and behavioural targeting.
