Dubai Media says Ramadan 2026 net revenue rose 57% and opens 2027 talks.

Dubai Media says its net revenue for Ramadan 2026 was 57% higher than for Ramadan 2025. It presented the figure to advertisers and agencies while pitching its Q4 2026 programmes and asking them to start talks now on Q1 and Ramadan 2027.

The numbers came at "Dubai Media – Looking to the Future", an event for advertisers, agencies and partners at Majlis Al Salam in Madinat Jumeirah. Dubai Media said its channels reached 53.7% of the Arab TV audience in the UAE during Ramadan, with about 2.2 million daily viewers and a 26.6% viewing share, and that Dubai TV and Sama Dubai were the main contributors. Its streaming service, Dubai+, has passed one million registered users and released more than 10 original titles since launch. Going into the season, Dubai Media had billed its Ramadan schedule as its largest: 20 series premieres, 24 programmes and eight dramas exclusive to Dubai+ subscribers.

For the fourth quarter, it is offering sponsorships and brand integrations around Shark Tank Dubai season 4, The Doctors and Dubai Drive, which cover entrepreneurship, health and lifestyle, and motoring. For Q1 2027, which includes Ramadan, it wants agencies and brands involved from the planning stage, so that campaigns are developed alongside the programmes. Steve Smith, executive director of commercial media and ventures, said the aim is partnerships that connect TV, digital, social and content.

All of these figures are Dubai Media's own. They were reported by Communicate and by the group's own titles, Al Bayan, Emarat Al Youm and Emirates 24|7, and none of the reports gives the revenue in money terms, a split between TV and digital, or who measured the reach and viewing share. Registered users of Dubai+ are not the same as active viewers, and the reports give no package prices for 2027.

For UAE brands the practical point is timing. Ramadan 2027 falls in the first quarter, and Dubai Media is asking for briefs now, which suits brands that want to be built into programmes rather than placed in the breaks. Before committing, ask for the measurement source behind the audience figures, and for Dubai+ viewing data rather than sign-ups.

Why it matters

Dubai Media is opening Ramadan 2027 talks months ahead and pitching integrations built into its shows. Its audience figures are self-reported, so ask who measured them before committing budget.
