Qiddiya Investment Company and Toei Animation announced the park at AnimeJapan in Tokyo on 22 March 2024 and chose Falcon's Creative Group as its master planner and attraction designer (Business Wire).

Qiddiya posted the film on its YouTube channel, showing a rendering of the park (Arab News Japan). As announced, it covers more than 500,000 square metres, with seven themed lands recreating places from the series such as Kame House, Capsule Corporation and Beerus's Planet, and a 70-metre Shenron that houses the signature roller coaster, among more than 30 attractions, plus restaurants and hotels (Falcon's Creative Group). Falcon's Creative Group entered the film at MUSE, where it won Platinum in 2024.
