⁨Plenty of people train regularly without ever entering a competition, and many assume hybrid fitness races are meant for athletes far more experienced than they are. HYBRDX, a UAE-born competition created by XDubai, needed to close that gap before its first edition.⁩

⁨Instead of selling the race on performance, the campaign asks each prospective entrant to identify their own "X": the personal reason they would take part. The first HYBRDX runs from 15 to 17 January 2027 at Kite Beach in Dubai, with eight 800m runs, each followed by a workout station. Entrants race in Elite, Everyday or Juniors categories, the last for 14 to 16-year-olds competing in pairs. Rus Tourism News reports that the event was created with Dubai Sports Council, carries an AED 1 million prize pool, is aiming for 3,500 participants and has BEYOND Developments as title partner and adidas as performance partner.⁩
