#TheMissingPeace.
For one day, UN Women Lebanon dropped half the alphabet from its tweets, and a TV channel and a newspaper did the same, to show what dialogue sounds like when women are left out.

The challenge
Lebanon's national action plan on UN Security Council Resolution 1325 calls for women in decision-making at every level, but women remain absent from most peace-building talks.
The idea
UN Women posted broken tweets in English and Arabic under #TheMissingPeace and an Arabic hashtag, with Twitter MENA as partner. LBCI opened its prime-time news with a broken-alphabet introduction and Annahar printed a front page with half the letters missing. The Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon backed the campaign.
