The challenge

Many Lebanese had stopped giving to people begging in the street because they doubted the money would be well spent.

The idea

J. Walter Thompson Beirut designed 'The Good Note', a 1,000-lira voucher shoppers could buy and give away. The person receiving it could spend it on essentials at Bou Khalil.
