The challenge
In Ramadan, food brands keep filling social feeds with desserts and close-ups while much of their audience is fasting until sunset. GREY Mauritius saw the problem as too much food content at the wrong time of day, and built Nestlé's campaign around restraint instead.
The idea
Daytime posts for Nestlé sweetened condensed milk, Carnation evaporated milk and dessert & cooking cream showed empty glasses, covered dishes and closed pots under the line 'Ready. But not yet served.', and recipe videos stopped before the food was revealed. After iftar the same scenes came back complete, with drinks poured and desserts uncovered, under 'Ready to be served.' Each post signed off with 'For the sweetness that comes after'.
