The challenge
Players trust their shoes, water and warm-up routine, but sunscreen rarely makes that list. NIVEA wanted to place sun protection inside sport's own rituals without preaching.
The idea
Saatchi & Saatchi ME treated sun protection as part of athletic training. Courts were painted with UV-reactive ink, so the sun itself revealed messages mid-game as UV rose, acting as both opponent and coach. Borrowing sport's rules and gear, the work framed sunscreen as part of match preparation rather than a cosmetic step.
