The challenge
Jahez set PIK up in 2020 to go beyond food delivery, aiming to get local merchants' goods to shoppers within two to three hours, Wamda reported. HOVI says the new app needed visibility and, above all, installs to build its first users in a competitive Saudi market.
The idea
HOVI's case study describes a channel plan rather than a creative idea. According to the agency, TikTok carried reach around events and seasonal offers, Snapchat was used to drive installs and Google Ads went after users ready to act, with activity timed to Saudi National Day and seasonal promotions. Jahez's App Store listing announced the Riyadh soft launch, with other cities to follow by the end of 2021. The case study's images show PIK's merchant sign-up and app-download pages rather than ads, and HOVI gives no exact figures for installs or reach.
