The challenge
Every delivery app promises speed, so a bare '15 minutes' is easy to tune out. According to The Collective Creative Agency (TCCA), talabat wanted people in Bahrain to feel the difference 15 minutes makes, rather than read one more speed claim.
The idea
Live the 15 Minutes (عيش الـ15 دقيقة) treats the promise as a what-if. Handed the shopping list, the son, played by Ahmed Sharif, mocks the app, and his mother pictures what getting everything himself would involve: hauling fish off a boat, raiding a chicken coop, milking a cow and taking a tractor out for potatoes. That whole farm-and-sea saga is then weighed against one 15-minute order. TCCA says it led the concept and creative direction and made the film with production house Paradox Films and director Omar Rammal, filming over two days on Bahraini farms and streets and out at sea with a crew of more than 40. According to the agency, the same joke ran across a hero film in Arabic and English, social cutdowns, GIF stickers and outdoor.
