KAFA staged a wedding photo shoot on Beirut's Corniche with a young girl as the bride of a much older man, to show passers-by that child marriage is still legal in Lebanon.

Underage marriage remained legal in Lebanon, and the NGO KAFA wanted public pressure for change.
The idea
Leo Burnett Beirut set up what looked like a real wedding shoot in a busy public place and filmed people's reactions as a social experiment video. The film drew wide media interest.
