The challenge
With sunset coinciding with the evening commute, some Muslims were breaking their fast away from home. IKEA wanted to offer a welcoming place to share Iftar.
The idea
Mother developed a furnished pop-up home with cultural guidance from AMALIAH and interiors by Noor Aliyah Ali. Bearded Kitten built and operated the experience on London’s Southbank and Manchester’s Exchange Square. Familiar domestic details, shared meals and spaces to pray translated IKEA’s idea of home into a useful communal experience.
Results
- Bearded Kitten reports 35,000 registrations and 150 guests.
- Bearded Kitten reports 5.5 million influencer reach.
