Halan started as a tuk-tuk hailing app and became a consumer finance app and card. Its film hijacked the everyday Egyptian word halan, 'immediately', so people would remember what it now does.

IMPACT BBDO Cairo built the film around the word halan, used constantly in Egyptian conversation, so the brand came to mind whenever anyone said it. The entry says the line 'Halan is an app and a card' became a running joke in replies. Amr Haddad directed, with production by Prodigy, and it ran during Ramadan.
