Cap The Tap.
Finish redesigned its rinse aid bottle cap so that, once the bottle is empty, it screws onto a kitchen tap and cuts the water flow.

The challenge
Turkey is projected to become water-poor by 2030, and households waste water rinsing dishes before loading the dishwasher.
The idea
Havas Turkey turned the Finish Rinse Aid cap into a 3D-printed flow regulator that fits the M22 tap standard, which the agency estimates is used in 90% of Turkish homes. It soft-launched on World Water Day in March 2022 with 200 bottles sent to opinion leaders and influencers.
Results
- The cap cuts water use at the tap by 60-70%, or up to 9 litres a minute, according to the agency.
