Campaign Middle East reported on 30 October 2026 that Snap has appointed Nouran Hassan as Head of Communications for MENA and APAC, based in Dubai.
The report says she will oversee regional communications teams, corporate reputation, executive communications and media relations. She joins after nearly eight years at Spotify, where her remit included communications across MENA and other markets.
This is recent coverage of an earlier announcement. Exchange4media reported the move on 19 October, citing Hassan’s LinkedIn announcement; 30 October should not be presented as the appointment date.
For regional communications teams, the move identifies a new leader overseeing Snap’s reputation and messaging across two regions. It is not an announcement of a new advertising product.
