Deloitte's survey of 1,000 Saudi consumers aged 18 to 50 looks at devices, connectivity, streaming and AI. It finds generative AI is now part of daily life, and that younger people increasingly back age limits on social media.

Key findings

  • 66% of Saudi consumers use generative AI, up from 49% a year earlier.
  • 41% think social media should only be open to people aged 16 and over. Gen Z backs the idea most, at 66%.
  • 43% share a paid video subscription account, down from 52% the year before.
  • 65% have at least one other service bundled with their home broadband. Wi-Fi boosters are the most common add-on, at 29%.

Why it matters

Gen AI has moved from novelty to habit for Saudi consumers, so creative and search teams should plan for discovery that runs through AI tools. And with two in three Gen Z respondents backing an age limit, brands that reach under-16s on social media should follow this debate closely.
