The challenge
Wadaa's range runs from half-kilo gift boxes to single wrapped dates, for gifting, sharing and everyday eating. The task was to keep one premium character across every quantity, format and occasion.
The idea
The identity draws on Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, its light, Islamic architecture and Saudi hospitality, and builds on a theme of radiance: gold detailing, patterned surfaces and flowing geometric motifs, tied together on every pack by a bilingual wordmark. Windows shaped like the dome of Al Masjid Al Nabawi show the dates inside. The gift boxes have compartmented interiors, with decoration that carries on inside the larger boxes, while the smallest packs boil the system down to logo, pattern and product colour. Colour separates the varieties: deep green for plain dates, olive green for dates with nuts and purple for chocolate-coated dates, with gold for detailing. The range covers half-kilo gift boxes, premium and flexible standard seven-date packs, and individual wrappers.
