The challenge
Perma NoHeat is Nerolac's first dedicated heat-reduction product, and a cooling claim is hard to believe from an ad. The brand wanted people to feel the benefit rather than hear about it.
The idea
Working with temple authorities so rituals were not disrupted, Nerolac and Tribes coated pathways at several high-footfall temples in southern India and focused on the hottest, busiest zones. A digital film follows the work from application to impact, showing temperature readings and the reactions of barefoot visitors.
Results
- According to Kansai Nerolac, on-ground readings showed treated surfaces up to 15°C cooler.
