Pinterest sells its ads through Amazon, Google and Yahoo buying platforms.

Pinterest has made Programmatic Deals generally available, so advertisers can buy its display and video inventory through outside buying platforms. Magnite is the main supply-side partner, and the deals run in North America, South America and Asia Pacific.

Pinterest announced the change on 26 October. Advertisers can now include selected Pinterest placements in campaigns they already run through demand-side platforms, including Amazon Ads DVA+, Google Display & Video 360, Yahoo DSP and DeepIntent, without building separate Pinterest campaigns. Magnite connects Pinterest's inventory and audience signals to those platforms, and Pinterest's inventory also sits in Magnite Orchestration, a layer meant to let buying and selling AI agents find and package media. In Latin America and Asia Pacific, Google Ad Manager also works on the supply side. The programme is run by Jason Fairchild, Pinterest's general manager for programmatic and affiliate and chief executive of tvScientific by Pinterest.

Pinterest offered one case study. In a June 2026 campaign, Moroccanoil added Pinterest to an existing video and display buy through Amazon Ads. According to Amazon's internal data, the campaign gained 15% incremental reach with 1% audience overlap, 63% more new-to-brand buyers among users whose path included Pinterest, and a click-through rate 20% above the brand's usual video and display average. Pinterest also restated its scale: a record 640 million monthly active users and more than 80 billion searches a month, which it says are more than half commercial.

Europe, the Middle East and Africa are not in the launch list, and Pinterest gave no date for them. It also didn't say how pricing compares with buying Pinterest directly, or which measurement partners verify the results.

For Gulf advertisers this is one to watch rather than use. The direction is clear, though: walled gardens are opening their inventory to the DSPs agencies already run, and when the deals reach MENA, Pinterest could slot into Amazon or DV360 plans in Saudi Arabia and the UAE without a separate team.

Why it matters

Pinterest becomes a line item in existing DSP plans rather than a separate buy, which lowers the effort for enterprise advertisers once the deals reach the Middle East.

UAE SMEs spend five times more on AI while advertising falls by a third

Pemo's first SME Spend Index says its UAE business customers spent about five times more on AI tools in the third quarter of 2026 than a year earlier, while their advertising spend fell by a third. The company is a spend-management platform, so the data comes from its own customers.

Why it mattersIn one UAE payments platform's sample, small firms moved money from advertising into AI tools, which matters for agencies pitching SME budgets.
